About us

Jørn Olerud holds a B.Sc. in electrical power engineering and has over 45 years of continuous experience in the fields of electric motors, speed and torque control, power conversion, machine automation and company management from the supplier industry in Norway.

Until 1987, NEBB (ABB), Rasmussen Drilling, Siemens and National Elektro (ABB) were employers in service/commissioning, engineering, sales and department management. From 1987 to 2010 founder, CEO / CTO and majority owner of DtC-Lenze as until the company was sold to Lenze SE in Germany.

Established Drivetek as in 2011 and ran this company as CEO / CTO until it was sold to Aratron as in 2021.

From 1987 to 2021, the companies imported and sold electric motors, gearboxes, brakes, clutches, speed controllers, machine automation and projects based on the products for approx. EUR 50 millions to industrial customers in Norway and abroad.

From December 2022, Jørn Olerud offers counseling, technical solutions, service and products to customers in Norway and abroad. At the same time hired in as part time sales and support engineer at Aratron as. The business is run from a home office in Lillestrøm. We also have workshop, test and warehouse premises close to the Gardermoen Airport.
